Jennie’s Journey
Welcome to my business page, I'm glad you're here. Let me introduce myself, I'm Jennie, a registered nurse with extensive medical experience spanning back to 2002. I hold an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from The Christ Hospital School of Nursing and Health Sciences, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. I initially worked as a medical assistant in various healthcare settings before becoming a nurse. My nursing journey began in 2008.
Throughout my nursing career, I specialized in orthopedics but gained valuable experience in neurology, ENT, and pain management. My professional path started at The Christ Hospital in 2006, where I worked as a patient care assistant while pursuing my nursing degree. I then started my nursing career there in 2008. In 2018, I joined Beacon Orthopedics, where I continue to work on a PRN basis at their surgery center in Sharonville, Ohio.
My personal journey led me to explore Myofascial Release Therapy (MFR) due to persistent health challenges, including unexplained aches, pains, and multiple surgeries. In 2022, I faced the need for a second shoulder surgery and a reoccurring hip issue arose again, which prompted me to seek alternative solutions. A transformative experience with MFR inspired me to pursue this healing practice as my life's purpose. In January 2023 I enrolled in my first three MFR seminars, I embarked on this new path by registering my own LLC in May 2023, and officially opening my practice in June 2023.
I am dedicated to helping others thrive in their lives through Myofascial Release Therapy, a role I never expected but have found immensely fulfilling.

Myofascial Release is a gentle, hands-on approach that addresses restrictions in the fascia — the connective tissue that surrounds and supports every muscle, bone, and organ in your body. Using the John F. Barnes Method, sessions combine three elements: structural release, to free areas of tension and restriction; unwinding, allowing the body to move naturally into positions that support its own healing; and rebounding, a gentle technique that helps calm the nervous system.
Unlike deep tissue massage, MFR uses sustained, gentle pressure held over time — often just a few ounces of pressure — to allow the fascia to soften and release at its own pace. Many clients are also introduced to self-treatment techniques, so healing continues well beyond the session itself.
Every body holds tension differently — sessions are always tailored to you, not a one-size-fits-all routine.

Myofascial Release addresses a wide range of pain and dysfunction by releasing restrictions in the body's connective tissue. Some of the most common issues I help clients with include:
Chronic Pain
Headaches / Migraines
TMJ / Jaw Pain
Neck & Back Pain
Plantar Fasciitis
Scoliosis
Women's Health Issues
Pelvic Pain
Sports Injuries
Scars
Trauma (Physical & Emotional)
These are just some of the many issues MFR can help with. Contact me to find out how MFR can support your healing..

Fascia doesn't just hold physical tension — it can hold the imprint of trauma, stress, and emotional experiences the body hasn't fully processed. Many clients come to Myofascial Release for a physical issue and discover, often unexpectedly, that releasing fascial restrictions also brings a sense of emotional relief and release.
This is a gentle, safe, and deeply respectful process. There's no forcing or rushing — MFR simply creates the space for the body to let go of what it's been holding onto, at whatever pace feels right for you. Whether you're working through the physical aftermath of an injury or surgery, or carrying tension tied to a difficult experience, this work meets you where you are.
Healing isn't just physical. If you're carrying more than just sore muscles, MFR may offer relief you didn't expect.
